Dear Buckeye Elementary School Community,

 

My name is Joshua King and I am thrilled to join you as your new principal. With nearly two decades of experience in elementary education, including over ten years as an elementary school administrator, I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence at
our school.

 

Beyond my professional background, I am a dedicated father and husband. My family, including my wife, our son and daughter, are my greatest sources of inspiration and support. As residents of the west valley, we are excited about the rapid growth in the Buckeye and Goodyear area and the opportunities for current and future residents. I am also an avid athlete who enjoys mountain biking, running and hiking with my family on local trails. These experiences have taught me the value of perseverance, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle, all of which I strive to instill in our students. I believe strongly in quality, engaging and data driven instruction.

 

I believe in intervening at the correct level and tracking student growth closely. Every child can learn, and our teachers play a crucial role in that journey. Parents are our strongest allies, and collaboration is key to accomplishing the highest levels.

 

I am immensely honored and excited to lead Buckeye Elementary School. As we embark on this journey together, know that my dedication to our students' success is unwavering. Success is not just an option – it is our shared goal and responsibility.
